Just newly joined the Public Mobile, and realized the data functionality was very poor around the Alpine Village in the Kawartha Lake area. Hope this will improve at the coming months. As the Rogers or Bell has minimal issue to the wireless/data functionality to calls or web browsings.

the area should have solid 5G and 4G coverage. Try to reboot the phone, try Reset all networks

PM uses the same network towers as Bell and Telus, so if it has been working with Bell, it will be the same
Try changing your network to different one and try to see if it improvies, try 3G Only, try 4G (or LTE) and try 5G if your phone supports
