I'm acutally wondering if @Daunnie phone has a SIM card slot, or perhaps, the customer can only use eSIM because a physical SIM is already in use in the device.

what phone do you have? Sometimes the check is a false negative, you can ask support to confirm
but how about change to Physical sim ? Get one from:
Telus or Koodo or Mobile Klinik store https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/on/pick-up-SIM
Amazon.ca https://www.amazon.ca/Public-prepaid-postpaid-Activate-Allinone/
Then message support agent and ask them to help to update your account with the new sim card:
