Gotcha. So you're going to hafta work with Public Mobile customer support to get the transfer going. Unfortunately; they've made that un-necessarily difficult recently. Hopefully, one of the oracles will escalate your concern to the right place.
You can try calling that port assistance number that someone sent you.

Good...so did you receive a port request message from Lucky to which you must reply YES within 90 mins ?

@DilligafGuy wrote:right from the hope it gave the error message and no its from lucky mobile
can you tell us the area code and the next 3 digits of the phone number? maybe the number really cannot port into PM
10-05-2026 11:27 AM
already did that
10-05-2026 11:24 AM
now that you've been successful in creating your new account, take a new number (for now)...then when the plan is up and running properly, you can initiate the transfer then.

hi @DilligafGuy
as said, you only request porting once , you don't request more than more. If you request again, it will give you an error
and which provider you are porting from? i hope you are not trying to port the number from another PM account, there is no number switch between 2 PM accounts
10-05-2026 11:13 AM
I tried yesterday many times kept saying error try again, tried today many times same **bleep** error try again

@DilligafGuy wrote:its got nothing to do with my phone ive used it in this network in the past
sometimes is the device/network compatibility issue. If you don't want to tell us everything , we might not be able to help
@DilligafGuy wrote:it keeps telling me error when porting my number to my already active account
where you try to click to port the number again? you don't need to, you only need to request porting once
10-05-2026 11:07 AM
and for calling that porting number it keeps saying we are currently closer call back during business hours then hangs up. public mobile is nothing but a scam
10-05-2026 11:04 AM
its got nothing to do with my phone ive used it in this network in the past

10-05-2026 10:50 AM
ive already bought 2 esims still not working
10-05-2026 10:29 AM

hi @DilligafGuy eSIM replacement is free if the last purchase was over 15 days ago. But in your case, since it was failed from the beginning, they will usually reimburse it (give you a credit back). So, just buy a new one and get it working first, then work with them to get reimbursement
but what phone do you have? some weird model phone, like S20, the esim won't work well , it is better to use physical sim.
10-05-2026 09:50 AM
it keeps giving a error when I do it wont send me a texts or anything and public mobile keeps giving me the run around telling me I need to buy a new esim when ive already paid for 2
10-05-2026 09:40 AM
hi @DilligafGuy
what was the reason they "won't trasnfer" your number? first, did you put in the request to porting during the subscription and then got to the last step to complete the activation? If you did, then did you get a text from the old carrier, did you reply Yes within 90 mins?
and can you receive inbound phone calls, especially from Non-Telus/Koodo/PM phone? If you cannot the port was not done
It could be an incomplete port. PM porting support team can help. I have sent you the porting support team number. Please check your Community inbox (https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/privatenotespage), check for the number and call.
And in case the poring team cannot help and ask you to submit ticket (or you rather submit ticket anyway), please submit a ticket here using the same Community login credentials you are using now: https://expert-messaging.publicmobile.ca/guest/chat/
Once you started the Chat, type "Submit Ticket", then "Connect Agent", and it will ask you to login to open ticket
