My sister in law is with bell. She owns her phone but has a monthly plan. She would like to switch over to public mobile and get a plan like mine. How does she go about doing that and what does she need to give them so I can get a friend referral reward? We have Telus, bell, Best Buy and Walmart stores in our area.

Log into your account. In right hand side is your referral code. She will earn a $10 sign up bonus (credited to the account within 72 hours of activation) You will earn $1 off per 30 days.
Give here that code. There is a section on activation page that will ask for it.
She needs a PM sim card. (Brand new) you can get one at Walmart or a LONDON Drugs if one is in your area. They will even activate for her. Or she can go home and do it herself at link below.

If she does it at store she has to go home to create her self serve account at like below.

If she is bringing over her phone number. They can do it at store or if she is at home. During the activation link there will be a section to enter the info to transfer the number.
Please read port protection link below as Bell will send her a text that she has to reply "yes" to.

If she just gets a sim card and goes home she can also talk to a real live person via chat. It is only for activation. They will do everything for her and set her up. Link below.

Any other questions don't hesitate to ask.
Happy Holidays!

I would recommend your friend read the get started section of the public mobile website.
https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/bc/get-started
Essentially they will need to get a PM SIM card (can get at Walmart if they do the activation there, or through Public Mobile, or through Canadian Cell Supplies). They should use your referral code on your self serve page so you both get rewarded for doing so. See pic below where that is on your self-serve page:
And if they are porting their cell number from another provider, they'll need their account number from that other provider before they begin the activation process. See link below on specifics regarding porting a number:
