On 14 Aug, I went to my local Walmart store with a friend to help him subscribe to the $15/month plan with Public Mobile. I gave my referral number to the Walmart employee and he said that he would set things up things for us in no time. My friend got his new SIM card + new phone number without any issues and we both thought that all was fine as we walked out of the store. However, we received no confirmation that the referral number was used. The only communication from Public Mobile was an email to my friend congratulating him for becoming a new customer. Could you please check this out. Should we have received a confirmation email that the referral was applied or is this something that will eventually show up on our bills?

That was an old screenshot on one of my old accounts. At that time, it was the grandfathered $10 plan. Had to change plans, so not free anymore.

I went with a friend to Walmart on 14 Aug to subscribe to the $15/month plan and my friend gave his referral number to the Walmart employee so I could get the $10 rebate. I do not see this rebate on my account page. My friend's referral number starts with an "O" and it may have been inputted by mistake as a "0". Could you please check this out.

There is no email about friend referral confirmation. Did you receive a text about a new friend referral? Did your friend receive their $10 friend reward? It should show up in his available balance within 72 hours of activation.
If the friend reward was applied properly, you actually won't see the reward until your next payment date. You should see the extra $1 in your overview page in your self service account. And you also can see your friend's phone number.

You should remove any personal information by clicking on the three dots on the top right corner. You should see the $1 referral award in your account and your friend's last four digits should also be shown. Also your friend should have received a $10 awarded to their account within 72 hours. Your friend could try contacting a CSA to see if they will apply the referral.

It takes up to 48 hours to get the text confirmation you got the referral. I got mine within 24 hours.

Please edit your post to remove referral code and phone number. Codes are not allowed in this forum. Everyone can see your friend’s phone number now.
Your friend needs to look in self service at Available Funds to see the $10 credit. Did you receive the $1 referral reward in self service?
