Refer a Friend credit

I know that I receive $1.00 reward credit for each friend I refer if they remain with P.M., but in my monthly auto texts for my payment, it show a RAF $20 bonus has been added to my account.  Why $20.00?

@LSMRTN you only pay taxes on whatever you had to pay not on the plan cost.  You should have only paid taxes on the $17. The taxes are based on the provincial area code of your phone.

Thank you.  That makes sense now.  I do wish they would change up the payment history to show your actual monthly payment.  Apparently they have to tax on the full payment plan amount first, then subtract the bonuses.

On June 24, you were charged only 17 + taxes according to your screenshot.  Your total plans is till $40 though.  The payment history is somewhat confusing.  

The automatic top up line -  is what you were charged that month.

When was your payment date in June?  Maybe screenshot your payment history page.

Here are the terms and conditions of that promo:

To qualify for referral bonus, referer must be a customer as of May 14 and have not referred anyone to Public before. My June payment was not $20.00 less for the first time RAF bonus.  Any help with that?

I checked my June payment, and it was $1.00 lower for the referral, but I don't see where the $20.00 bonus credit is applied? Are you familiar with this issue?

@LSMRTN congrats on your first refer a friend reward. Lucky you, you got it within the now expired $20 promotional period and didn't even know about it. You should also see the regular $1 there too. 👍Stay safe.
