When you recharge just after expiry your old plan is renewed immediately and so that is why you had no Available Funds. When you changed the plan you paid for the new plan but lost any earlier payment. The 2nd (or 3rd ?) payment then went to Available Funds.

You need to contact the moderators. Click this: message to moderators to send a private message to the moderator team with your phone number, description of the plan you actually want, and an explanation. They will take care of it for you.

Do not pay again, and decide if you want a refund or to just leave the extra payments in Available Funds to pay for the next renewal.

Hello,

The renewal date was may be 24th december. my services got off so did peform a recharge on 25th dec. I had recharged through my debit card. It said there are no funds to change your plan when i tried to change my plan. Then i performed recharge by selecting plan it is 105$ plan with 90 days limit cost me 118.65$ with tax. Didnot show me any reply so did it again the same. Then i performed one more recharge of 101.70$ since it was not reflecting my balance. Then it went through and my phone is on service now. The funds reflecting my account shows only 180$. which screen shot you want me to post?

@venky1141

We need some clarifications here:

When is your renewal date?

What was the exact process you went through when you say "recharge"?

How big are your available funds?

What does your plan overview page in self serve say? That's the plan you are on. Please black out all personal data if you choose to post a screen shot.

Never pay multiple times unless you have checked with your credit card company that the first payment didn't go through at all.

@ky01

Actually, you can do an immediate plan change in your self serve. It's just that you loose any unused portion of your current plan and don't get any refunds for it.

That's why we usually suggest a future dated plan change, you should activate it a couple of days before renewal and then the system is changing your plans when it renews.

Scenarios you need help from the moderators:

- Early renewal of the plan you are currently using because you've run out of data.

- Changing plans if your plan is in suspended mode (ie you've disabled auto pay, it's past your renewal date and you don't have any active service - Note: after 90days in suspended mode your account will be deleted and you loose your phone number...

Be aware that anytime you do a plan change you can only pick from in-market plans. In other words think carefully if you are on a grandfathered and/or promo plan.

In your case, I think it would be a good idea to message the moderators and to let them know what you've been trying to do.
