It's an ongoing problem and started when Public introduced 5G. I have to use my phone on 3G to have any chance of a successful call. I am in the Niagara Region and the service is very poor. Even Telus friends are having the same issues.

has this been an on-going problem for several weeks or has it just started happening ? Does things improve if you go to a different part of town ?

It depends on various conditions. Which area you are in?
Did you try your SIM in another phone to eliminate phone itself (hardware) reception issue?
