Recently switched to a 4G plan but still showing 3G on phone

Hi support, recently switched over to a 4G plan and phone is showing a 3G connection and has connection issues when making and receiving calls. I don't think it's throttling, using an Iphone 11 so need some help here. Could it be the SIM card or an Iphone setting? Please advise, thanks.

Self Serve website caching issues don't influence the way a phone connects or the type of network that the phone connects to.

@RPappas  In addition to what @Outdoorsman  said to do. Another thing is that iphone's allow you to use just 3G or LTE and if there is not LTE it goes down to 3G. Go to settings then Cellular then Cellular data options and in voice & data select LTE. Another thing is that in order to get the speed of LTE (LTE is another name for 4G) is that it takes 48 hours after switching to the 4G plan to actually get the speed.

@Outdoorsman that shouldn't affect calls, though, right? It's mostly call connections that are dropping
