Receiving texts in the Philippines

I need to receive a website authentication code to my PM number. I'm currently in the Philippines. Question is - will i receive a text from Canada in the Philippines with my Public Mobile sim inserted? So far it doesn't seem that i can.

I'm on the $25 3g, 1 gig data plan with unlimited international texting.

PM does not support roaming un Phillipines

No. Public only works while in Canada or with roaming add-ons in the states.
