I am receiving too many texts from public mobile. Can I receive less and change my notifications or can we set it up as email only? I am referring to the updates on my bill. We have autopay and don’t need updates

Add 611 to address book and set 'silence' for notification for that particular contact.
There is no way to stop these SMS from PM as they are related to your account/service.

HI @Normmarsden1 Yes, many people asked. Would be nice if they are sent via email and we are filter out those we don't want. Cannot be done at the moment. For me, I think the texts are fine, just not at the right time of the day 🙂

If you are talking about SMS from 611, you should get only 3 SMS around renewal date:
- Heads up. Payment is due
- Congrats! Rewards...
- Thank you for payment
If you do not want to receive them at all (ever), add 611 to your address book and then block recipient. But that will stop EVERY SMS from 611.
Why does it bother you, 3 short SMS per month?

Is it the midnight ET text that is most bothering? Make 611 a contact and set the notifications. You'd still get the texts, you just won't get notified.

@Normmarsden1 Sorry, not something you can do 😞
One way is to completed blocked 611 but I do not suggest you doing it as you would miss the important message when it matters (like account suspended due to occasional Autopay failure or holiday bonus )
Another way is to add 611 as the contact and to set a mute notification. In this case, the message will still come to your phone and just not "beep", you can go back and check whenever you want
