I can make outgoing calls, but all incoming go to voicemail.

DND or airplane are not on, no blocked numbers, no call forwards, have reset phone and tried reinserting sim.

@jessica_biggar   So the porting didn't complete?  If your previous account is still active then you need to have them send you the port transfer request again (you also need your old SIM in the phone) so that you can respond with a YES within 90 minutes.

You should perhaps open a ticket with the link provided by @esjliv or you can also try phoning the Telus porting # to see if they can assist for an incomplete port.  I'll message the porting number via private message, check your message inbox top right of screen.

edit:  nvm, I see @hTideGnow  has provided the number already..

Hi @jessica_biggar it is not too late.  you can re-trigger that text part with the help of porting team.

Just make sure you still have your old sim, put it in a phone.  Call porting team and they will re-trigger the process and you reply YES on your old provider sim

I will message you the porting team number,  check your Inbox on top right

@jessica_biggar

A bit extra details would be helpful to assist options for troubleshooting. Were services working before?

Is this a new activation with a new number, or a porting over one?

Do you have an iphone, and this a 'new to you phone' and/or did you activate with a new number?

Deregister the number on the iphone: https://selfsolve.apple.com/deregister-imessage/

Set up your phone number On your iPhone:

  1. Go to Settings > Messages and make sure that iMessage is on. You might need to wait a moment for it to activate.
  2. Tap Send & Receive. If you see “Use your Apple ID for iMessage,” tap it and sign in with the same Apple ID that you use on your Mac, iPad, and iPod touch.
  3. In the "You can receive iMessages" section, make sure that your phone number and Apple ID are selected.
  4. Go to Settings > FaceTime and make sure that your phone number and Apple ID are selected in the "You can be reached by FaceTime at" section.

If you have activated a new account and transferred over from another provider, incoming calls are usually the last to port over.

  • Cell ports can take 2-3 hours. Use the previous provider's SIM card to receive the porting transfer text for approval to port to port over to Public Mobile and to receive calls from until port is complete.
  • Landline/voip ports can take 3+ days. Expect a mix of services on the landline and Public Mobile SIM card until port is complete.

When the incoming calls stop on the previous provider’s SIM card and/or landline/voip account, that is a good indication the port is complete.

If still issues, submit a ticket with Public Mobile representatives (CSA) for help; click this link: to request the transfer of your number over to Public Mobile.

HI @jessica_biggar  if you are new to PM today, are you porting old number into PM?

if you are existing customer and just having problem today, try to change your phone to 3G only (some phones call it HSPA only or WCDMA Only)

@jessica_biggar

Did you just activate and port your number in? Did you reply YES to the PAT (porting authorization text)?

Somebody else complained all calls go to vmail too.

It could be service issue where phone thinks it is off line. Can you try your SIM in another phone? Reset network?
