If over a year, the account would have been closed and you sim card would be no longer useful for another activation. Also, you likely cannot get the old number back anyway. So, start new with a new number
To join back Public School, get a new PM sim from Telus or Koodo or Mobile Klink $10 or from Amazon $5

So let's start with the easy stuff. The old SIM card, is no longer good and you can toss that. Two, you'd need a new SIM card (which I think you purchased one already if I read correctly), now, you just need to start a whole new account. As a brand new customer and pick whatever plan you want. Your old phone number is gone sadly so you'll have to pick a new one. You will have to download the app on your phone to be able to sign up.

I just wish to clarify a few things to make sure I give the best advice.
You have a SIM card.... is it a new SIM card or the old one?
When you say you want to reactivate, how long has your plan not been active for?
Once you answer these questions, we can better assist you.

if you cannot login and account suspended for less than 90 days, them ask PM support the proper way by message them(they won't reply your tagging here ) :

if your account suspended for over 90 days , you need to get a new sim card and activate a new account

I tried on the site but it couldn't identify either of my SIMs and it wouldn't accept my payment method either
