Hi everyone my father has been using public mobile from last 9 years and he was sick and he had to stay with me for few month so he was not in Canada and we forgot to top up. And due to non payment his phone is not working anymore he cant dial 611 from his phone so how do we add money to his account so it can start working. He is old and getting very upset that he can not update this number in all places. please plese help me

@Ome That is a sad situation. I suggest you call his old number. If it is in use by someone you are out of luck. If it seems to be unused, try sending a private message to the moderators to see if they can recover it.

Thanks for your reply the account was inactive for 3 months and 9 days. My father was sick and he was staying with me the whole time and he never setup auto payment so i did not know about it. And it does not let us log i online beacuse when he first bought the plan the person wrote a wrong email on file (spelling mistakes) so we never got an email from pulic mobile and my dad is 76 years old he does not email or checks email. I do not know what to do and how to help. This is the number he has given all his doctors and hospitals that is why he is really worried that how will we update any new number. I called koodoo store they somtimes help pulic mobile customers and he sai it is possible to retrive after 3 months they have done it for customers but we are stuck because we have no online account to log in.

@Ome When an account is suspended and no payment made for 90 days, the account is closed, SIM deactivated, and the phone number recycled. Has it been more than 4 months since the last payment to Public Mobile?

Thanks for your reply will13am i tried calling this number but when the automated service ask for his number to enter i did that but it does not recognise his number and tells me to go on community page of public mobile so here i am, i do not know what legacy account is not aware of it. but he has been a customer for a very long time.

@Ome, try calling 1-855-478-2542 from any line. This number is for legacy customers. I assume that the line in question is a legacy account.
