There may be an issue with the activation system as two other members have reported having problems. Waiting for a moderator to respond may be your only option at this point if you have had no luck with any of the suggestions so far. Just keep an eye on the envelope icon next to your avatar at the top right corner of your screen for a little number to pop up indicating a message from the moderators. Responding promptly to messages will speed up service times.

@pcthekid  The phone settings don't come in to pay during activation. Are you porting a number in from another provider? If yes, then you have to enter a valid number that you can be reached at jus in case there are problems with the port.

 

  1. Open your browser and clear the cache
  2. Make sure JavaScript and cookies are enabled
  3. Use Chrome or Edge
  4. restart your computer
  5. Try the activation again

Report back on status. You should have also submitted a ticket with PM and included your PM sim number in the message and ask for them to check if that SIM has been registered in their system.

 

To contact PM click here. The link  sends you to the private message function and adds the moderator team as recipient for a private message. You just have to enter a title and text in the body of the message describing the problem and post. The message will be received by the moderator team and they will respond to it. You will receive the response in your private message inbox.

No error codes, everything is correct.

When i press continue, it stays.

Maybe phone settings??

Ive filled out the activation form numerous times. After i correctly complete the form  and press continue, it goes knowhere.  

My sim card pin is there, my code is there and all my information  is complete and correct. I think  it could be my phone settings but not sure.

The Activation page can be finicky sometimes alright. I think that @darlicious has provided you with a concise strategy....make sure to try what she suggests.

Failing all that, follow instruction by @geopublic for getting the attention of the moderators for their assistance.

Check your credit card and see if the payment for the plan you've selected, has been debited yet. Try putting sim in phone and restarting phone.

@pcthekid  Sounds like you need to submit a ticket to Public and ask the moderators to reset your account.

 

To submit a ticket to the Moderator Team, please start a conversation with the Public's virtual assistant, SIMon by clicking  here or the icon (bottom right of your screen).

I have already made five attempts and my activation wont work.

@pcthekid  You have to wait out an activation session lock. About 20 more minutes going by your first post. You will create your self serve account as you activate. It does not use the same username as your comunity account just the same email.

     Get prepared  for your second attempt.  Grab a cup of coffee. Your credit card statement for the billing info. A piece of paper and a pen to write down your password, pin # and security question and answer. Clear your browser, close all tabs and open only one tab in incognito/secret mode using chrome, firefox or safari. Have your referral code ready to enter halfway down the first page. When you enter your credit card info copy it exactly but dont use the apt/unit box and do not put a space in the postal code. USE ALL CAPS if necessary.

          Don't use the BACK button. Be patient.

Try using a different browser and incognito mode.  Also clear your cache and cookies then reboot.

Im new here, i added the public sim and it checks ok, Now all is dead. I cant register an account, my phone doesn't work, 

I cant buy a plan. Everything just kicks me out and says my password or user name is in correct. Although, im able to sign in here, ??
