Had my phone and been with public mobile for 3+ years, have a Samsung s21 fe.
The past few days my signal has been cutting out for long periods of time.
Sometimes it will say I have 5 bars, but there's no 4g or 5g next to it and have no text or Internet capability.
Can connect to wifi no problem, but sometimes I can't text or send pics to certain numbers without that cell signal.
I haven't changed location, I'm not under a tin roof although that's what it seems like, I'm in Edmonton, on the 100gig, 5g plan.
I've tried setting to airplane mode then off, resetting my phone, walking 100m away and nothing.

This has been going on with me since bell announced they wanted government funding for dead areas. When the bell/government grant/scam is complete, this shouldn't happen anymore.

What kind of SIM do you have?
If it is physical SIM then it could be issue with connection with SIM. Clean post, clean contacts...

there is wireless degradation in the Vancouver area since April 11, still an issue at the moment. Not sure if you are affected
