Ported from Rogers Saturday. While my # is working, RCS is not, and my texts are not coming through, nor are they being received.
Is this common, and how long does it take to rectify? I've had friends switch and they didn't have to wait this long.

go to Settings to turn off RCS. Reboot phone. Wait 24 hours and turn on RCS again and it will re-register. It might take a bit of time, but wait until the registration completes

Thanks. Tried that, now back to the annoying "connecting" message. Hopefully it will do it this time, but I'm skeptical.
Any other tips, in case this doesn't take?

you don't fully uninstall it. It will say uninstall update or Return to original. Just do that, then reboot phone. Last, go back to Google Play Store and Update it

you are receiving incoming calls? only RCS the problem?
are you using Android? Uninstall Google Message , reboot phone and reinstall , that will force an RCS registration again
