Hello
i I have toggled the RCS Messaging button but underneath it says waiting activation. How can I activate this?

@Handy1 , @LindsayKristen , toggle off RCS, then reset network settings & your phone will restart. Then (you will likely need to add your WiFi & password again if you use it) toggle RCS back on. That’s what fixed mine just now.
RCS was working again for me on Tuesday (5 days ago) when Public Mobile fixed it on their end after it stopped working for several weeks showing “waiting on activation” but for some odd reason it stopped working again (I just notice tonight, which is Sunday, after seeing your post) & it went back to showing “waiting on activation” but I don’t know when it stopped working since Tuesday! So far it is working again!

Most of us has no problem with RCS on iPhone now. Try disable it first. Wait 24 hours , and Reboot phone and re-enable RCS

I have an iPhone. But it has said activation waiting since I switched to Public Mobile in January

I restarted and nothing changed so I’ll seek customer support. I think it’s the reason I can text in a group chat that has a contact with an android phone. It’s the only thing I can find that’s different than another public mobile user who can view the texts in the same group chat.

the activation could take time, just hold on and wait
and you have iPhone or Android?

first try retarting your cell.
If that fails, click on the orange bubble on lower right side of page to start process to get Customer Support involved. Watch the little envelop icon on top right side of page will he highlighted when they respond.
