I transferred from Bell to Public Mobile and transferred my number to Public Mobile. Everything seems to work fine except when I RCS chat it still shows my temp number that was set up before the number transfer.

I have this issue as well. It's been less than 24 hours since the port in so I'm going to wait it out for another day - Messaging and the phone see the ported in number but RCS are getting set up for the temporary one.

Yes, the Phone works fine except for RCS chat number issue. I'm currently on vacation in the USA and would prefer not to lose my WIFI password so the network is likely not an option at this time.

Are you able to receive phone calls and texts with your original number? Just want to make sure that the port was successful.
Reboot phone. Also can try network reset of phone (note: this will erase any saved Wifi passwords).
