How do I stop getting someone else's calls and texts? This person could have been the previous owner of this number.

Hello @ Nithya1,

If you're receiving calls and texts meant for the previous owner of your phone number, it’s likely that the number was recently reassigned.

The best thing to do is kindly let the callers or senders know that this number no longer belongs to the person they’re trying to reach. Most of these messages and calls should decrease over time.

If the issue continues and becomes disruptive, you also have the option to change your number through your online Public Mobile account under "My Profile" > "Change Phone Number."

Let us know if you'd like help with that!

@Nithya1  check with agent to see what happened to the number.

If you want, you can also change the number yourself through the online self serve portal under the Profile tab.
