Question regarding the Email advising of upgrades to 4G speeds

I’m wondering if I upgrade to a new plan with 4G speeds will I lose my monthly loyalty, refer a friend and auto pay credit rewards?

No. You should not lose anything as this will be processed as 'normal' upgrade. 4G is nothing special except faster data.

Why are people so obsessed with 4G? Current speed is not enough for normal life?
