Question about welcome back email offer

Thousandstock

Hello users,

I received an email offer that if I activate before June 30, 2020 using my previous account email address (this account was deactivated months ago) then I can get $10 or $15 off my bill for 12 months depending the plan I choose. This is a great welcome back offer.

My question is in the email when it says how to redeem the offer, the first step to do is

  1. Get a Public Mobile SIM card online.

Where online is a link with some tracking IDs. It doesn't say get the card in store.

Do I have to click that link to buy a SIM card online in order to have the offer applied? Can I buy a SIM card in store and activate and still have the offer applied? I'm asking because I'm running out of time to buy it online and wait for delivery.

Anyone has the experience with the situation?

Thanks,

Thanks! Those are exactly the terms I received in my offer email.

I agree that it shouldn't matter where to get the card. It's just that their instruction is a little confusing.

@Thousandstock

It does not matter where you get the SIM card.  Ordering online will be too late for June 30.  Purchase from in store vendors, including Mobile shops (inside Superstore), Walmart, London drugs, WOW mobile, some authorized Koodo dealers.

Double check your email offer.  Some offers requirements include at home, online activations, while others include in store activations.  I don't think that this deal excludes in store activations as long as you activate with the email address (which the offer was sent to)

Other terms and conditions of your offer:

  1. If at any point during the 12 month period the rate plan is changed or if your account enters suspend, this offer (monthly discount) will no longer apply on account.
  2. This offer is not stackable with other promotions and promo codes. If you activate using a promo code, your $10/$15 for 12 month offer will not apply on your account.

You can use the store locator to find the nearest retailer.
