Hi Everyone,
I've been with Public Mobile for a few years, but for my line of work right now I need my name to show up on people's phones. Right now it's just a number that shows up - does anyone know how to turn this "on" in Settings or otherwise so people can see that I'm calling?
Thank you!
Joscelyne

Yes. It is possible. It depends on how much is the cost for PM back office support. The cost will go up with more features support.. Then, subscribers will ask for roaming in Europe, Asia, South America. The list goes on. PM will become another Telus.

@gpixel I can definitely see that being useful for those people calling many others who won't necessarily have them in their contact list. I know I don't put everyone in mine. That being said, I suspect there are others out there like me who wouldn't find it necessary due to the limited numbers they may call.

@will13am what would public need to do, to make something like this available?

@JYu1 , I believe the Telus brands refer to caller ID as call display+ where a name appears during calls even if not on the contact list. It is available on Koodo and Telus, not Public Mobile.

I believe Public Mobile doesn't have an option to show set your name up for caller ID and rather only shows your number.

Ok gotcha. Thank you

@JYu1 PM only hows the number. Your name only shows if in the other persons contact list, or they are with a carrier like Rogers. Stay safe.
