QR code for iPhone 15Pro

Gordon5

I just bought a IPhone 15Pro and need a QR code to install a SIM from my iPhone 11. Have tried Support and go around in circles. Have asked to connect to customer support agent and either get a Submit link and get 404 error or I get nothing. Have cleared all cookies and still can’t connect with agent. Big Catch 22!! Advice?!

thanks

Sounds good! Enjoy your new iPhone 15 Pro. I have the iPhone 14 Pro Max as my main phone.

I am semi-tired but my pension is in Cdn $.

Thanks for your comments. My pension is in USD so it is cheaper for me to buy it in US paying US dollars. I looked at bank exchange rates and it was definitely cheaper to buy in US, especially since I’m down here on vacation (not a special trip to buy phone). Sales tax was lower as well.

I was at my local Costco in Canada and it was $1440 cdn (SIM/eSIM) including Apple care and was down at the Costco in WA and it was $1170 usd (eSIM/eSIM) including Apple care. Both 128gb storage and is also available online.

Comparing the prices not including taxes with exchange rate. The Canadian Costco was a better deal.

Bought the phone in Phoenix. Interesting that the Canadian phone is different. Went on PM site, bought eSIM and it works perfectly. Bought 15 days of talk, text and data so I’m now a happy camper. Thx very much for your advice.

Thanks very much for your thoughts. I’ll check it out. BTW, I HAVE to buy a digital SIM as the 15Pro does NOT have a SIM slot. Bought it at the Apple Store today.

For eSIM with new phone, you have to re-buy a new one for $5 for your iPhone 15 Pro, ie, you cannot just transfer esim from phone to phone

Yes,  while eSIM is "cool", there are disadvantages as well.  For eSIM, if you have a new phone, or if you ever wipe your phone, you will have to re-buy a new eSIM again.   There is no such problem with Physical sim card.

To rebuy new eSIM, First, download the app on your new phone, click   or    at the bottom left to bring up the menu and go to Subscription & Add-on page, scroll down to the bottom and click Shop SIM Card Now.  You can buy and install eSIM from there
