QR Code will not load

Hi 

The QR code will not be picked up from my computer screen to my phone.

My phone IS turned on to WiFi

The camera settings ARE active for "scan QR Code"

I HAVE tried using the QR Code icon next to the camera lens.

I still can't get it to load. I's been MANY hours!!

@Susan23   Since you originally opted for esim, contact customer service to help get you up and running once you have the physical sim card.  Either open a ticket at the chat icon bottom right of this page, or send support a private message using the link

I found out yesterday that I WILL need a new physical  SIM card. I*DID* check it on the system before I selected the e-card, but it was wrong. The guy in the store said that my phone soes not have that capability.

So, I will just go buy one - I don't want to wait for it to ship.

So, once I get the card, how do I move past stage 3, so I can transfer my number?

@Susan23  Yes, I have one. I can get into Gmail on both my computer and my phone.

Is your phone itself signed in to the Google account?  It sounds like it may not be if you can't even download Google Play.  If you need to contact Public Mobile customer service, open a ticket at the chat icon bottom right of this page or, if that doesn't work for you, send them a private message using this link

It sounds to me as though your problem is with Google rather than Public Mobile (other than that PM requires their app to activate a plan).

Thank you. I am only on step three. When I try to add the app from GooglePlay, it tells me that there is no account associated with this device, and to download the GooglePlay app first. When I go to do that, I get the same message (no account.)
I understand that PublicMobile is a "no frills" thing, but can't SOMEONE just get me activated??

No error. It just reverts to the normal screen

you already used the Public Mobile app to subscribe and you reached the Step 6 of the Subscription? 

If you were using the Public Mobile app and reached Step 6, the esim would have already been installed by the app.  Check the Sim Manager or Settings > Cellular screen, confirm if you have a Public Mobile esim there already

if you have only using the browser to subscribe and have not used PM app at all, then the activation was not done.  You were only done payment and you need to download Public Mobile App to complete the activation.  You don't need the QR code at this stage, you just need to head to the App Store, search Public Mobile and download the app

@Susan23  Are you able to get the QR code in focus?  I find with codes I often have to move the phone a bit further away or it's too blurry for the camera to recognize.
