The two things that the customer would be asked a Public Mobile customer support agent or a Samsung customer service for are different things. It's not a matter of choice, nor is it a matter of it the phone is a Samsung model. The customer need to know which type of code is being asked for. A SIM Network Unlock PUK cannot be provided by Public Mobile, just as Samsung cannot provide the SIM card's PUK, regardeless of if the customer is using a Samsung device.

As pointed out by others, contact a CS_Agent to help you with the PUK but if you have a Samsung phone. It may also be locked and you will need to contact Samsung Canada at 1-800-726-7864.

@Monkeyjarge what was the exact message? there are different types of PUK and PM support can only help with one particular type. The other one require different way to get the PUK. Let us know the error message and we can assist
