the esim solution depends on your phone. Most eSIM compatible phones can be used on PM. What kind of phone do you have?
If you rather physical sim card, a better option would be to get sim card from Amazon instead.
And yes, if you tried activation before, your email could still tied to the wrong account. It is best to activate with a different email address, or you will need support to clear that up for you

I am in rural Newfoundland, we do not have access to any TELUS stores. Can you walk me through how to get an E-SIM if that is an instant solution?

I tried to sign up with PM a year ago, the online ordered SIM card never arrived so I remained with BELL. 10 days ago I tried PM ago, my sign up got attached to the SIM card lost a year ago. I thought I was gettinf an eSIM. I ordered another SIM onlin, not here yet and am wanting to track it. Getting plenty frustrating. I have no phone or text service for past 10 days

how long you have waited? if it has been too long , ask them to let you buy in store (Telus and Koodo) and credit you back the extra money you spent for that

for a new account, you can get an esim which is instant. The only fly in that ointment is that PM has a short list of eligible phones for esim usage.

SIM. Card can take up to 3 weeks to arrive .if you need one sooner try calling local Telus Koodo stores for in person pick up .otherwise reach out to support for a status up date for when it shipped and when you can expect
