Is it possible to get back your old number? I am currently locked out of my Apple ID and the number I had before, is what I need to gain access to my account.

You can get access to your account Apple account if you go into an Apple Genius store with proof of receipt of the iPhone. Other than that you are out of luck.
You can just take out the SIM and put it into another unlocked phone if AutoPay is enabled. If not enabled, just login to your account and enable or make a payment.

When, exactly, was the number last active with you?
And what do you hear when you call the number now?
Apple does offer alternative means of accessing an account if the number is lost or irretrievable. They should be able to provide you with alternative options.

When you say get back your old number, is this from a previously closed Public Mobile account? In those cases, it's extremely unlikley that the number is retrievalble as the number may have been assigned to another cutomer.

Hey @cansask43
If it's been less than 89 days you can log in and make a payment to get the number back. If it's been more than 90 days, nothing anyone can do. Contacting a CS Agent will not help!

HI @cansask43
yes, but only if you got the number from PM (or Koodo or Telus) when you first got the number
and it also depends if the number is free and how long you left PM
So, a lot of unknowns, best to contact agent and ask
please submit a ticket with CS Agent here:
