Is there a way to skip the beginning details of a voicemail (i.e. robot voice that says the phone number, when message was sent, etc.) or turn that off completely?
I can't stand having to hear and wait for all of that before hearing a message. It's usually a waste of my time to have to wait for all of that before the message starts.

I think this is the real answer unfortunately - any number/key I try doesn't skip it. It would be much better for the message to just start and if someone wanted to hear the details they could press a number.

Thanks for the tip, but that doesn't work, it just starts saying the number again.

soon as the beginning of the massage starts...just press 1 to hear the message without having to hear the entire preamble.

i don't think way to skip the "clear and informative" prompt completely
but i think if you know what to press next, when they start giving out the choices, you can press it and it will cut the prompt off
