Porting number problems

Hey I just signed up to public today. When I signed up and went to transfer my number but didn't realize I was getting a text that I had to answer in 90 minutes.  So I answered yes at about 120 minutes.  So now I seem to receive some texts and call through my normal number with public...but other phone numbers won't work unless I put my old sim card with my old provider in the phone. What do I do??

My friend did the same thing and went grocery shopping instead of waiting for the text and he replied to the text 4 hours later. 🤦‍♂️

Just private message a CS_Agent to restart the porting process for you but keep your old SIM in your phone since it will continue to work. Once you reply with YES, your old SIM will continue to work for about 90 minutes to 2 hours until the porting is completed.

@Jon123  No worries there’s a number for live support to re trigger the port request will send you it now private message and get it fixed
