Hi;
My plan with public mobile ended yesterday, I needed a new phone so I moved to freedom today. They tried to port my number but they said your number is being held up with previous provider since your account with them is suspended. What should I do?

@Imanshar correct, you cannot change the plan yourself once it's expired, you need moderator assistance.

I have messaged the MOD yesterday and again today and still no response. I also topped my accounts 11 dollars for the cheapest plan but I can't change my plan on my own and my number being held up.

Hi @Imanshar,
In order to port your number to another provider, your Public Mobile number must be active and not expired. In your case, you can try messaging the Moderators to see if they can activate your account temporarily in order for you to complete your port. Otherwise, you might have to activate your account with the cheapest plan available for you to complete your port.

You will need to renew your plan in order to change your account status back to Active. To do that you will need to add funds to your account. I know you are only looking to activate just to port out and not looking forward to pay for the whole plan. In this case, you can renew your account with the cheapest plan available which is $10 50 talk and text. Since your account is currently suspended, you must contact the Moderator_Team with your account details to have your plan changed.

try contacting the moderator team and let them know that you are porting your number out of public mobile and that you need them to activate your account again.
