I have activated my account and now wish to port my number from Fido. It tells me to not put in Public sim card until I know Fido has deactivated with text message. . However when trying to get into my account it tells my that I'm being texted a 6 digit authencation code to my Public number which I can't get into because the sim card isn't in my phone. What am I doing wrong?

@tdejong52 yes the activation steps are a bit backwards try the PM sim in the phone to get the code to log in . Once you confirm full access then it will tell you to put in the PM SIM card . Par for the course around here with terrible messaging

If you did not receive or cannot receive your 2FA code by SMS - Click on: ‘Didn’t get a code’ and you will get more options. Chose email.
