I think it'd be in public moblie's best interest at this point to at least bump up customers plan start dates that are having issues with porting to save some Face.

The biggest lesson PM needs to take away from this promotion is the RFD effect .

Over the years I've seen many CRS centers be overwhelmed because of deals posted on redflagdeals.com.

Then just keep using the Fido sim until your issue gets fixed.

And how does this affect people such as myself, where I have no inbound calls, however, texts/data both work. In addition, my FIDO SIM is still fully functional.

How long does it usually take to port a number?

 

I am porting from Bell and it has been 5 days...

@Scavenger29 and it definitely takes some manual seraching to find things.

Sorry I wasn't aware of that .
Maybe then they should pin thread at top of page so it sticks out and ppl don't have sift threw post to find that.

Well aware of search feature but honestly how many ppl actually take advantage of it.

They do bumb up the start dates

If im not mistaken they are bumping up the start date to when you actually get service.  Im sure theres a thread in here somewhere.
