I would like to try the service, so I bought a SIM and selected a plan that will allow me to check the service. I am planning to port my Rogers number in about a month from the start of the service. Will that be possible?
Thank you,
Ion

You can Port in a number anytime and as many times as you want your self via self serve on Publicmobile.ca

@ion54, the port can happen anytime, as long as the number is still active at the sending carrier.
Also, a new number can be selected from the Public Mobile list once every 30 days. Ports do not count in the 30 day limit.

There's no time limit , it can be done whenever you're ready and satisfied!

@ion54, when doing the port submission, make sure you enter the account number with the hyphens removed. The Rogers bill shows hyphens in the account number. Including them when entering the account number for porting purposes will result in porting failure.

No problems waiting for next month. Waiting a bit isn't such a bad idea. It gives you a chance to test drive Public Mobile before changing over completely. Good luck and welcome to Public Mobile.

Yes that will work! Just keep paying your Rogers account to keep your number active. When you're ready to port just go in your public mobile account and fill in the port request and it will automatically cancel your Rogers account when the port is finished. If you need a refferal number to save 10$ on your new account let me know!!

Yes. You can port your Rogers number to PM anytime without any fee. Everything is done online at your self-serve account.
