HI @Tsawwassen yes, with what you said, but might not apply of OP's case?
OP not from Koodo prepaid or PC., OP from Bell and Sask Tel, OP still can port after activation without any agent assistance 🙂

If need to port after, just need to login to My Account, go to Change Phone Number and there is an option for that
and I am not sure if OP has any issue for now, I think OP just asking how
First of all --one may only port an active number registered to another provider - and in some cases. (Transferring a Koodo Prepaid or PC Mobile Number? To complete your Port-in request, please reach to our Customer Support Agents here)

Unfortunately for you - porting your number should have been done when you initially set-up your PM account. Not sure if a CS could help you but it's worth a try.

The first thing you will need to do (before even buying Public Mobile SIM cards) is to check if the numbers can be transfered to Public Mobile. Use this Koodo link (both Public and Koodo are owned by Telus): Check Eligibility to Move (koodomobile.com
After you've checked that both of your phone numbers can be brought to Public Mobile, purchase a couple of SIM cards from the Public Mobile website. After you receive the SIM cards, you can request number porting while performing the activations. This part assume that you're not already a Public Mobile customer.

When you activate your SIM card there is the option to port your number or receive a new number. You can also get the new number and port later in self service. Your account that you are porting from must be active. Also leave old sim in to get the confirmation text to allow the port.
