I have several accounts I would like to port over to PM, are the problems PM was experiencing with text messages truly resolved?

I'd ported from TELUS to Public Mobile, opting for eSIM with Public Mobile, about a week (6 days) ago. I haven't had any issues.

Public Mobile stated in a thread that the issues were resolved, with the exception that there could be a delay of about an hour after porting completion before SMS service would start working properly.
