I'm trying to do a port-out, but don't have access to my texts. Is there a way to authorize a port-out that doesn't require receiving a text?

@Kfriesen1993 : This is incorrect. The intention is for you to confirm the port-out. The new provider can't do that. Otherwise we'd have port-out frauds all over the place.

remove your autopay from your account before port out,
also you can try ask another carrier the can accept your public mobile account number then you don't need the SMS,
for SMS you need to Contact Customer Support Agent by CS_Agent, and Explain your issue to
them can solve your issue, they are nice Service Team they will help you 100%.

Could you clarify 'have no access to text'.
Is your phone working? Are you out of cell range? Out of country?
Majority of porting is done replying to SMS with YES within 90 minutes of receiving it.

You would need to contact the CSA's to permit the transfer. Click on the envelope by your purple avatar (nice choice 🙂 ) and click on the little pencil in a box icon and then type CS_Agent in the To box and tell your story. They will ask you all kinds of verification questions. No one likes a fraudulent port-out.

@Kfriesen1993 Generally you need to reply the Text the port out. Which provider you are trying to port out and why you cannot receive text or send text?
you are not in Canada at the moment? or you don't have the phone with you?
