Hi there,
i yesterday just before my phone plan was scheduled to renew i purchased a better plan with another provider. When i try to port my phone number from public over it gives me an error message that this number is not tranfferable. Can anyone help me please?

The punlic account had been active during that period when i was trying to port over to koodo

@Dreday198999 so did you cancel your Public Mobile account yesterday before you purchased the better plan with your new provider?
If so, you will not be able to port the phone number as the account has to be open and activate first. If this is what you did, your going to have to purchase a new Public Mobile SIM, and purchase a new plan to the cheapest to re-active your account to port out. You will not get back any refund. Or lose the number.

@Dreday198999 Can you explain a bit more about what is happening? Did you get a message from Public Mobile to authorize the port with Yes and you replied within 90 minutes, or do you get the error message before that stage? It's up to the new provider to initiate the port, have they told you anything?
Edited to add, you did do it before your PM account expired since it has to be active in order to transfer a number out?
