Points system….when it originally switched over

I tried to find the original post from a couple of years ago when the new points system was introduced but I cannot find it. Does anyone still have it?
What was being offered for people to switch? I seem to remember there were bonus points for certain things. Does my recall this?

That's interesting. Should PM not give everyone being switched over the 5 point welcome bonus? It would be nice to get something more than free data.
