Don't want to be left out in the cold when I have my e-Sim ready Apple watch. Public community please keep this request alive...maybe it will benefit more of us the sooner we are able to get watch e-sims.
Thx U All!

Public Mobile is a no frills/tier 3 provider, so I wouldn't hold my breath on that. We have a better chance of maybe one day getting WiFi calling, but even that I think has a low probability. If it's important to you (I get it, I have a watch plan on my Telus line), you'll need to consider Telus or Koodo.

hi @Tatz
i think you can try to submit a ticket with PM and tell them the need and ask them to escalate.
but if there is extra cost and infrastructure investment as @softech said, I am not sure if PM will spend the money. This is just a tier 3 carrier and they only provide the bare minimum service with low cost

I do understand that PM e-Sims are not supported for watches...If we request this service, there may be chance PM will listen...Just trying.

although PM has eSIM support, but it's eSIM won't work on Apple Watch., Pixel Watch or Galaxy watch
To support smart watch, other than eSIM, the carrier has to invest more into the infrastructure (servers and software) which PM does not have
Sorry, to have a plan setup with your Apple Watch you have to activate with Telus or other Tier 1 providers (Bell, Virgin Mobile, Rogers)
** yes, Virgin is the only Tier 2 provider with watch support
