Did you mean:

$10 Sim Card @ Telus not the $5 as advertised.

I had to pay $10 for a Public Mobile Sim Card.

How do I get that corrected?

Make me start of with a very disappointing experience and now regret changing to a PM subscription

Anyone else have the same experience?

As others have said, there's no error. Telus/Koodo sells sim cards as a courtesy, but at the end of the day they are technically a third party seller who can charge whatever they want. Amazon sells them for $5 which is your best option in my opinion. Ordering from Public Mobile directly is a disaster most of the time, and not worth the $5 savings if you ask me.

The price was only supposed to be $5 if purchased from the Public Mobile website or Public Mobile app.

All we can do is advise you here in the Community. For a new activation, the the price of a SIM card should only be $5. You could message a customer agent and request a courtesy partial refund to make you happy. When you message them, provide them with your account number and the last four digits of your credit card so that they can verify your identity immediately. Otherwise, further time is wasted in back and forth messaging for verification. Good luck.

@Dino506

actually, physical sim is always $10 when you buy from Telus or Koodo Store, they are not really Public Mobile so they don't follow PM's sales price

but if you want to get it for $5, buy from Amazon.ca:  https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B06X9ZGDWG/
