Hello,
I subscribed to a new plan and ordered a physical SIM card. However I realized that physical SIM card will come in 10 days. Now I want to cancel the shipment of physical SIM to my home address instead I want to buy a SIM card in-person at Telus store. Can you please cancel physical SIM card delivery and don't charge me? Please guide me to a store to buy SIM card in person.

don't throw away the sim that will arrive via Canada Post. Customer Support will likely credit your account for the added charge for the sim you have to buy locally. Check if there's a Mobile Klinik in your area as they have the sim available. Alternative is to buy sim from Amazon for FAST shipping. If you or friend has an Amazon Prime account...shipping is free also. Now...the sim that you ordered from Public Mobile...save it and gift it to a friend or family so they can start a Public Mobile account as well. They will get a $10 credit using your referral code (you get referral code after successfully activating your account). You'll get 1 Point for every 30 days that your referral stays with Public Mobile. Doesn't sound like much now, but down the line, you'll find the value in that move.

Alright. I have sent a private message to CS Agent using your link. Hopefully they can cancel the shipment of physical SIM card as I have ordered it 15 minutes back only so I am quite sure that it is not shipped out yet. If they come back with shipment cancellation confirmation it will be great. I will go and buy new SIM card in person tomorrow. Thanks for your help in this.

yes @as187 , no sim card is tied to your account yet. So, you can go ahead and buy the sim card yourself from Telus/Koodo/Mobile Klink store and use the one you buy to complete the activation
And a reminder, you will need to use the PM app to complete the subscription.

Thanks for quick reply. In case they do not reimburse me and if I am fine with 10$ loss. Can I still go tomorrow to a store and buy a SIM and activate it tomorrow itself? That way I can throw the SIM card that will arrive after 10 days and accept the 10$ loss. Is it doable?

sim card order are generally non-refundable. But you can discuss with PM support and check if the will allow you to buy a new one from Telus store and reimburse you the extra cost
