When you peform an immediate plan change, you lose the payment and any remainimg time and usage of that plan.
Since you were charged for your new plan, you'll need to follow the instructions from earlier to open a ticket.

How did you change plans? You need to first add the funds and then go ahead and select the plan you wanted to change to.
Did you do an immediate change or select change on renewal?
