but anyway, your plan gives you access to data and calls when you are in US and Mexico.  you can also call back Canada (and call US and Mexico) while you are in US and Mex

your plan will work whilst you're in US, Mexico as well as Canada. Make sure to enable Roaming. You need a newer cell to use talk whist in US but otherwise text and data will be fine. You'll not get any bills for overages or anything else.

your Canada-US-Mexico plan allows you to use your service in US and Mexico just like you are in Canada

so, in US and Mexico, you can use data as usual (just need to make sure you turn on Roaming data on your phone).  You can call the 3 countries for free and you can receive calls
