I received a promo text on July 26th 2023 offering 50gb of 5g speed data for 65$ and I opted in. I received a text back saying it would update my plan on the following renewal date. My plan renewed on July 31 but my plan never changed. I only noticed this morning when I received a text saying I had used 75% of my data

Those text messages have alot of issues when it comes to making changes on your Account.
The best way to change your Plan is to schedule for it to change within Subscription & Overview Settings on the App, everytime I've scheduled one there it has always worked without failure.
You could also message the Customer Support Agent and see if they can change your Plan for you, considering you'll have a screenshot of the text you replied for confirmation of the change that didn't happen, they might be willing to do something for you.

@Miralidston First check like this . And also note there’s the same plan right now for 50GB for $55 30 days 5G service or if you opt in for 90 days it’s $150 for 150 GB 90 day 5G service .. but if something is a miss please submit ticket with support to investigate for you
