My plan cycle date used to be 16th of every month but last week when I logged in to my account my plan cycle date started showing as 9th. How do I get this fixed?

hi @Leo010 PM is probably the only one carrier using 30 days cycle
Your cycle date WILL shift and won't stays 16th all the time
You "lost" a day after a 31 days month.
But luckily , you "gain" back 2 days after February

Though I did notice that under My Account the data usage for the current cycle is only showing as 4mb which is my approx usage in the last 3 days as per usage history. However I have used up my 1GB limit since 9th Nov which is can see in my usage history and as a result I has to purchase an add on. I am just not sure why the usage amount is so low on the main My account page.
If you certainly didn't process a plan change, then yes, the cycle renewal dates fall 1/2 a day back (on average) each month due to the 30-day cycle periods.
As far as seeing usage history for data consumption, it's advisable to click the little refresher icons when first logging into the self-serve page to ensure one is viewing an up-to-date version of the information. Not doing so may yield a cached version with outdated information.

Did you recently change your plan (including, I think, from 5GB/$40 to 15GB/$40)?
If yes, is it possible you selected to change immediately, rather than "change at next renewal"?

I think I may have figured out the reason. Looks like public mobile has a 30 day cycle so over time the plan cycle date changed when it's a 31 day month
