I had changed my plan so that at the next renewal date I would receive the plan I had set up to get. But when the date arrived I still had my old plan. Why is that, and is it possible to switch to the plan I had wanted and just charge the remaining amount?

Alexandf: The issue was already fixed. There's no need to contact a CSA.

@LianaSchz26 Hi check to see if credit card was charged the amount of the new plan if it was contact a customer service agent to ask them to fix the problem do not try to change it again or you will be charged twice, they’ll straighten it out
There are two ways to contact a customer service agent , open a ticket through Simon here https://publicmobile.ca
Or private message them here
