Hi there
I want to change my plan at the next subscription renewal: I will pay the same amount I am currently paying, but increase my data from 50 to 75. The question I have is: on my current plan, it shows the amount I pay, and after the month, there's a small number 12 beside it. The new plan I would like to change to does not have the number 12 after the month. Does it mean anything, will the price change at anytime or???

generally the place will stay. But of course, for any plan, the carrier has the right to change price with sufficient notice
for what 12 means, You can expand Terms and Conditions on the change Subscription page and you will see that
and 12 means:
12 Your Public Mobile subscription includes a rate plan that provides access to specific mobility services. Depending on plan details, rate plans have a fixed duration. Unless otherwise indicated in the rate plan description, a monthly subscription period is 30 days. The monthly subscription period of 30 days begins upon service activation. If you are subscribed, your plan will auto-renew at the end of the fixed duration.

Try to find small print regarding plan you want.
If you select proper plan and make it change on next renewal everything should be OK.
