Phone suspended - need to port over phone number

i switched to koodo today as i don't want my number to be suspended every month or when my autopay does not work, however when i joined public i did not have an email account, and therefore never registered my account - now trying too i can't because it says my number has been registered.

 

i am trying to port over my number from public as i have had it for a number of years, and according to koodo channel care the account is suspended for reports of being stolen and i must contact them to be able to port

Unless you reported it they would not suspend your account for stolen...

 

I am thinking it is suspended for non-payment (so you need to top up before you port out)

 

What was your bill date?
