Hi everyone,i have the older simple plan ive had for years and im happy with it,i only pay $25.00/mo.My question is i added on 1 gig of data just to try it out,i still have 900 MB left after a 30 days,will the data expire or will it stay on the phone and will the data add on ''auto purchase'' if i dont set the data limit to one gig,i dont usually use data cause i just basiclly use my phone as a ''landline replacement''.

Wow,,,thank you Jak for the fast response,you helped big time,i love PM,once you get used to the site and the the system its pretty simple.I think some providers will charge you if you dont set the data limits on your phone,but i think this only applys to providers with ''no add on'' plans,not sure how ''they '' do it...THANKS AGAIN.

As JaK said, it's just an extra amount that does not expire. Long distance minutes are used up the same way. If you had a monthly plan with 1GB per month and also had the data add on and you used 1.2GB that month, your add-on would be reduced by 200mb. They're great little top ups if you need just a little bit more.

Hi @Heavyrocker;
Data add-ons do not expire so any remaining will roll over into your next cycle, for as long as you stay with PM. No they do not auto purchase so you don't need to do anything to prevent yourself from getting more..
